N317'S SITE

Hey y'all! Haha I wanted to post something since I've just changed the skin.. So I thought I could share with you guys this thing my schoolmate shared with me. Earlier today during prayer conference I've already shared with Valerie, Liangwei and Jane. But yeah (:

My friend was sharing with me about this very amazing spiritual encounter he had with God. He said he was going about doing his stuffs one day, when he suddenly felt the strong burden to pray in tongues. So he took time out to pray in tongues, subsequently he began to fall in what I should call a trance. He no longer knew what was going on. He just prayed in tongues violently... During that period of time, God showed my friend an image of the promised land. And my friend felt comforted. But then later, God showed him another image. Another vision of warfare with the devil, telling my friend, before he can enter the promised land, he first has to go through warfares with the devil. Then my friend said, the warfare which he saw was not those really violent ones, but rather it was that kind where the devil sneakily yet quietly sow seeds of corrupt and evil in the hearts of the believers. Kinda freaky, isn't it? I think it's true. My friend said it hurt. His heart hurt when he saw all that. He saw that believers thought nothing was wrong, they're doing fine in their walks with God, but actually the devil is already working in them. Hm. Yes. Well, I guess this just reminds us, never to take our salvation for granted. Always walk close with God, always read our bibles, always pray, always remain teachable, always seek His kingdom first.

The devil has his ways, smart ones even. But still, greater is He who is in us than he who is in the world, our God promised that (:
